The rest of Sunday and Monday December 14th, 2009

What a day, we drove back and forth all day. After picking up Brenda and Mike at their hotel we drove to Mega so Ross could buy a phone card (cause of course he ran out and what happens if he needs to call someone?) then we drove to Centro Bucerias to find the glasses for Brett and Laurie but couldn’t find them so we’ll go back and try again! Some of the vendors were closed and maybe it was one of them that Brett got them from. Ross can’t remember and I wasn’t there. Then we drove back to Mega so Mike and Brenda could look at one of our grocery stores, then we drove to La Cruz to watch Rock of Ages (Ralph’s other band) at Ana Banana’s and to meet Ralph’s brother. They were great, 70’s type music. We then drove back to Bucerias (it's a good thing everything is close) to an authentic Mexican restaurant for some, of course authentic Mexican food, then we drove home for a bit, then, we drove back out to La Cruz and found a beach to lay on to watch the meteor shower. It was terrific, we laid on blankets, drank a bit of wine/beer, chatted and watched the show while listening to the waves crash in on the shore. Wow.

We dropped off Brenda and Mike at their hotel and came home and crashed.

We woke up at about 11 am on Monday and got over to the hotel by 1:30 to pick up Brenda and Mike to do the town. Mike has never been to PV and Brenda hadn’t been back since 1985 so they were both excited to go. We drove south to PV and had some 2 for 1 BBQ ribs at El Torito Sports Bar, that was a big hit, every day from 2 – 4 the ribs are 2 or 1. After filling up on ribs we drove out to Mismaloya to Mama Lucia tequila factory, I love the drive and the tequila “yum”. We drove around a bit after our taste testing to see some stupendous homes on the hills then drove back to PV to the market. We actually got Ross’s wedding outfit there, 2 really nice button down the front shirts (he doesn’t know which one he will wear, a pair of cotton slacks to match and some very nice (too expensive) sandals, now I just have to find something to wear! Brenda’s highlight of the day was going to Costco! She loves the store and loves to visit them when she travels. By the time we were done it was dark outside and we were all beat. We drove Brenda and Mike back to their hotel and we drove home and crashed. We picked up some guacamole at Costco and Ross pigged out on it for a treat, that reminds me, I should have some too. To bed we went.
