Wow, 23 more shopping days until Christmas! What happened to the year????????

We had to get up crazy early this morning for a seminar on bank trusts for our real estate course. We had to be at Paradise Village by 9 and we weren’t quite sure on where we were going so we left at 8:30 to make sure we wouldn’t be late. We got there and found our room with minutes to spare, so we found our seats and by the time it started (it was only 20 minutes late!) Paul, Cheryl, John and Christie were sitting with us.

Unfortunately the seminar was in Spanish, with a Spanish power point presentation, and they had an English interpreter, and it sucked the big one! The interpreter did not have a financial background and was having a hard time with the legal terms (the bank was putting on the seminar) so it went really slow. We think that if they had one seminar in English and another in Spanish we would have been out of there in an hour and a half or so rather than 4 hours. We did get a 5 hour credit for our course so that was good. They also had coffe/pop and snacks for us also.

After the seminar was over, we drove to Mexcales to get our license plate, again, for a parking ticket Ross got yesterday while we were visiting Brett at his hotel. The fine was 95 pesos so about $8 Cdn. Ross parked in the middle of the road along with other cars and they all got ticketed. We got home and I had a siesta, I haven’t been sleeping well and it sure felt good to have a snooze.


We met up with Brett at 7:30 and drove to Britannia for the open mike jam. We had a great time. I had to break out the winter clothes though…….I put on some blue jeans and a t-shirt with a sweater! It’s getting chilly outside!
