Another day in paradise! We ended up going out at about 8 for dinner last night, it was a wonderful dinner at a restaurant on the beach, we didn’t see the beach but we knew it was there. I had shrimp and Ross had pasta with shrimp, they gave us a piece of cake for dessert and 2 glasses of some type of alcohol stuff it was very good, but I had had some wine before and I just couldn’t finish Ross’s, I was a bit tipsy!

Just to let you know that the storm was awesome! The rain came down in sheets and we had to keep scraping the rain off with a squeegee thingy. The lightning was awesome and the thunder rattling. We ended up losing power for a while and then it went to a brown out, the fans were turning very slowly, and the air conditioner wasn’t working. The power finally came on after, thank goodness, didn’t want the fridge to be out for too long!

We woke up at around 11am and had coffee outside on the patio, this is starting to look like a habit, and got going around 1ish. Ross took off to Mega to do a bit of shopping and I stayed home and putzed. We went over to John and Christie’s to use their phone and internet and stayed a very long time, we might have overstayed our welcome! Not, they love us, right guys?

We took off to Wal-Mart to do a bit of shopping and came home to have supper. (Ross had promised me McD’s but they only have a small area in Wal-Mart that sells ice cream, he is a big spender) We came home with salad fixings so I think I will have a salad, Ross made himself a peanut butter sandwich to tide him over until salad. We have everything soaking in an antibacterial wash, and I think it is just about ready, so I’m gonna say bye bye for now.

Ps......we are trying to find someone with a hitch on a truck so we can move our trailer with all our stuff into the yard so we can start unpacking.
