Friday & Saturday November 20th & 21st

Temp 25/Humidity 69/Feels like 32 Partly cloudy

Sorry guys, I need to keep track of the weather, I should have been doing this all along but didn’t think of it!

Another day in Paradise, we got up quite late and had a great cup of coffee while sitting on the patio. We didn’t do much of anything today, went to Britannia for bingo Ross won ½ of the prizes, (110 pesos and a sandwich) which we picked up tonight (Saturday) when we went for acoustic night and a supper of fish and chips. Friday night Ross went to his meeting and then we went to Kosarios (sp) the new restaurant by Sue and Harold’s for breaded shrimp, grilled fish and extra fries for Ross.

We got home in time to call the Animal Communicator for our 9pm call. She said that Big Dog has not left yet because he feels that he still needs to be here. (Probably for Ross, he is having a hard time with Big Dog’s passing). Tigger was not ready to go yet, she said that he was in shock and couldn’t get over it. I hope he knows how much he was loved and how much I miss him, everyday! Gracie wants to be important now, she always took a back seat to big dog, and we will really have to work on that! Shadow is just Shadow; he is laid back and just taking everything in. Sunshine, doesn’t know what to do, he keeps looking for Tigger, they were so close, and can’t understand why he isn’t here. He won’t come down from the roof, he is always up there and will only come down when we bring him down, he probably comes down at night to eat though! Jake, our new addition, was not treated well from his other family (common thread in our critters) and just wants to know what is expected of him and he really wants to fit in.

We got up Saturday morning to a bit of a cloudy sky but still warm. After coffee and showers and stuff we started laundry (OK I started laundry) and we went to Wallyworld to get a few things. We got home and I started trying to get our cleaners organized (I have a lot) and outside rather than under the sink and finished the laundry. Ross got a bug under his butt and decided we needed to get our Christmas lights up. The front of our house now looks like a Mexican car! See picture!

This weekend is a party weekend (Revolution Day) but so far the only really noisy thing we have heard is a lot of fire crackers going off. Some this morning at 7am! We tried to drive home last night our usual way but because of the cock fights (yuck, but we are in Mexico!) we had to go back and go the long way around. Everyone we talked with today asked if we liked the noise (they heard lots across the 200) but we weren’t bothered at all, maybe all the noise goes west?!?!?

We went to Britannia for supper, Ross’s bingo winnings and listened to acoustic night, great fish and chips. We visited for a while then went to Philos to listen for a bit. It was Carlos’s birthday (38) he was a bit late but still got a happy birthday song from us! We listened for the first set then went to leave and Philo got Ross up to play a bit, so another wine for Kim! They played another few songs then took a break. Philo wants us to go to San Sebastian (a small town somewhere not too far away from us, I don’t know where, I have to find out!) where we take over the town and have a party! We have to see if Jennifer is back from holidays so she can babysit our menagerie while we are gone for a night!

We are now watching TV, discovery HD of course; Ross got his black light to work (we found a scorpion in our living room and you are supposed to see them with a black light) but couldn’t find any more. I made him put the one we found outside, far, far away! I gotta get my camera cable so I can download our lights so everyone can see, I hope the picture turns out! So everyone have a great rest of the weekend and we’ll talk to you soon!

Ross, Kim, Gracie, Shadow, Sunshine and Jake in Paradise (we don’t know where Maggie is right now)
