Wednesday November 11th, 2009

Good morning! We are up again way too early, we have a meeting with John and Christie and the gang to talk about the new development we are selling, all I can say is wow! After our meeting we drove over there and walked through the model that is 99% done and will be done on Saturday when we have a grand opening (or whatever you want to call it) for realtors to come by and check out the new development. We are suppling the sound equipment for the event so will be there early and leave late, but Christie says we get to eat, so it’s all good. The model that is almost done is fabulous, it’s a 3 bedroom on two floors with ceramic tile, granite counters and so much more.

We got home and we’re just chillin’ out, my old boss will be here shortly, (her name is Karen, the plane is touching down at 3:06 today and she’ll be here for 1 ½ weeks with of course Grant, her husband. I wanted to pick her up at the airport but we have to be in La Cruz for 4:30 and the timing would be all off. Once she gets settled she said she is going to phone me, I’m excited to see her and Grant.

Britannia is now starting to have “Deep River” (Ross’s new band with Mike and Nick) play every Wednesday afternoon between 4:30 and 7. It’s not a paying gig right now but it can turn into one if the bar gets busy during high season (which starts about now). We had a great time, they put a tip jar out and the only people that put money in was us (the band) so after they played we had some tequila. They played some Beatles and some Elton John among others.

We got home around 8ish and watched a bit of TV then got to bed early.
