Well, we are up at 8am to make our stint in the office this morning, drinking a cup of coffee outside on the patio, it was a very pleasant morning, about 24 and calm. I put 1 set of rope lights up the curricular staircase last night and it looks so cool. I’m trying to figure out how to string them up our cement pole then run an extension cord under the roof and plug it in behind the BBQ. Ross thinks it will make the patio too bright, I think not!
We got to the office and we just got settled in an some guys came by to let us know they are going to be fixing the sidewalk in front and we need to get out. We called Christie and sure enough she forgot they were supposed to be there today. In the mean time I had called the nail girl and she said she was booked up today, she called when we got to Vallarta (we decided to go there for breakfast) and she said her 10am appt was a no show so she could slip me in. Unfortunately we were in PV so I have made an appointment for Thursday at 3.
We drove to PV and stopped in the Mall (which I didn’t think was a mall but a small group of stores along an outside mall) that looked interesting. It was actually a mall that was kinda neat. It had a Mega and a whole bunch of stores (a chucky cheese!) that most were not open. We stopped at McDonalds and had a egg/ham Mcmuffin with a hash brown and an orange just, there is nothing better than comfort food! We stopped at Liverpool to see about the I-phone that was on sale for 800 pesos but they were all sold out (it was the old one) the new one was almost 1200 pesos and $80 bucks a month, ridiculous, who in their right mind would spend that much a month for a cell phone, obviously way too many people. I will buy something for 40.00 dollars a month (400 pesos).
We got home and Renee stopped by and we chatted until we had to get to Britannia for 6 (which we found out it was supposed to be 6:30) so of course Mandy wasn’t there yet so we drove to the new yacht club. We couldn’t get in but we walked around a bit, the locals are angry over it being built (it closed off some views to some businesses) and the docking fees are huge! (200 pesos per person for a boat to come into the dock to pick people up) We drove back to the club and we dropped off the cymbals we brought from home then Ross went to Philos to get the rest of his drums. I stayed there and met up with a couple of fellows from California who sailed down the coast, we moved from the bar to a table and we had a really good conversation. We had a great time there, Carlos played for a bit, then Ross played, then he handed the sticks over to one of the California guys and he played for a bit! Ralph got there around 9ish (he was coming back from his own rehearsal) and Ross, Ralph and Nick played, wow, it was great!
We got home around 10 and watched TV for a bit then hit the bed!
